Terms of Service
1. Who we are
ALVIN.AI ("we", "us") is operated by Alvin AI Lab, an international AI software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, serving customers worldwide. The service is available at ai.alvinailab.com and provides a web studio for AI-generated images, video, voice and editing tools, paid for with prepaid credits. Online payments are processed by our payment partners Lemon Squeezy and Payoneer (see section 5). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Content Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. Purchases require you to be 18+ or to have verifiable guardian consent. We may suspend accounts that breach these age rules.
3. Accounts & security
You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us immediately about suspected misuse. Each person may hold one account: farming the free trial through multiple accounts, disposable emails, bots or automation is prohibited and leads to suspension without refund of promotional credits.
4. Credits & free trial
- Free trial. While our limited promotional campaign lasts, every new account (email, Google or GitHub) may generate one (1) free image, once per account and per sign-up location. The campaign has a fixed global budget: when the total number of free generations or the campaign budget is used up, free generation ends for all users immediately and without notice, and you will be asked to purchase credits to continue. The free image is promotional, limited to standard-size image generation, has no cash value, is not transferable and is never refundable.
- Paid credits. Credits are a prepaid usage allowance for our generation tools, not money, a deposit or a stored-value instrument. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. Paid credit packs do not expire while your account remains in good standing.
- Cost per use. Each tool shows its credit cost before you generate. Costs may change for future generations; we announce material changes in-app.
- Failed generations. If a generation fails (provider error, empty output) the credits are returned to your balance automatically.
5. Payments
Credit packs are one-time purchases; we do not currently sell auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown before checkout in USD. We use the following payment partners:
- Lemon Squeezy — our checkout provider and merchant of record for card and PayPal payments. Lemon Squeezy collects the payment, issues the receipt and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax/VAT; its own terms apply to the payment itself.
- Payoneer — our international payments partner for cross-border payments and for receiving payouts of our revenue. Where Payoneer-based checkout is offered it will be shown at checkout.
- Local methods (bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, UddoktaPay) — coming soon. They are not currently available; we will update these Terms when they are activated.
We never store full card numbers. Credits from online payments are added automatically once the payment provider confirms the payment. Never share OTPs or PINs with anyone claiming to be support — we will never ask for them. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not: break any law; generate or share CSAM or sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance, reported to authorities); create non-consensual intimate imagery; infringe copyrights, trademarks or publicity rights; generate hate, terrorist or violent-extremist content; impersonate others or mislead people with synthetic media; attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service; resell access without our written consent. See the Content Policy for details. Violations lead to content removal, bans and, where required, reports to law enforcement.
7. AI-generated outputs
Outputs are machine-generated and provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy, uniqueness or fitness for any purpose; similar outputs may be produced for other users. Subject to our AI providers' terms and your compliance with these Terms, you may use outputs you generated with credits for personal and commercial work. You are responsible for ensuring your use (especially faces, likenesses, logos and trademarks) is lawful and for disclosing AI involvement wherever the law or a platform requires it. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display your prompts and outputs solely to operate the service for you.
8. Third-party providers
Generation runs on third-party AI infrastructure (currently fal.ai). Prompts and uploaded files are sent to these providers to produce your output; see the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages or changes at third-party providers, but will refund credits for generations that fail because of them.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the service or request deletion of your account at any time (see cancellation). We may suspend or terminate abusive, fraudulent or illegal accounts. Free trial and promotional credits are forfeited on termination; paid but unused credits on accounts terminated for abuse are forfeited, otherwise our Refund Policy applies.
10. Warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law (including applicable consumer-protection laws), our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or any mandatory consumer rights.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with support@alvinailab.com; we aim to resolve them within 30 days.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect, and continued use afterwards means acceptance. Questions: support@alvinailab.com · Alvin AI Lab, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
